Paris Fashion Week may be a stomping ground for luxury brands but François Arnaud is stomping through the City of Fashion in a trusty pair of Ugg clogs.
Over the weekend, Arnaud was spotted arriving at LAX, on his way to Paris, in a pair of Ugg’s new Otzo Clogs in Dark Chestnut. Arnaud styled the comfy footwear with a matching denim fit from Agolde and a crisp white T-shirt. The Otzo, designed with a nubuck upper and contoured EVA footbed, makes it the perfect travel shoe for hours-long wear, according to the brand — and, if Arnaud’s airport ensemble proves anything, sleek enough for a Paris Fashion Week touchdown.
Arnaud’s new footwear fits in seamlessly with the Canadian actor’s laidback style. Since his breakout role in “Heated Rivalry,” he’s opted for relaxed tailoring, monochromatic sets and tactile fabrics — often favoring wide-leg trousers, chore coats and unfussy knits over flashier red-carpet tropes. Arnaud sticks to his monochrome uniform at red carpet events, too. At Santa Barbara International Film Festival in early February, he hit the carpet in a chocolate-brown suit layered over a silky brown shirt. A few days later, at a Cultured Magazine dinner celebrating Connor Storrie’s Entertainers issue in L.A., Arnaud went head-to-toe Saint Laurent, wearing a light-brown silk top-and-tie combination with dark-chocolate satin trousers, finished with black square eyeglasses — coordinated with Storrie in matching silhouettes.
Ahead of “Heated Rivalry” Season 2, Arnaud will star in the Costa Rican family drama “Abril,” which made its worldwide premiere in Santa Barbara last month, and the survivor thriller “Someone’s Daughter.” As he travels from premieres to industry dinners to fashion week, we know there’s at least one essential he’s packing: his Ugg Clogs.
