Jim Carrey Is Going Viral For Looking Completely Unrecognizable At The 51st César Film Awards

"Apparently this is Jim Carrey at the French film awards."

With his record-breaking 1994 run in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Dumb and Dumber, and The Mask, he made the transition from bit player on In Living Color to movie star.

Jim maintained that upward trajectory at the turn of the century, with roles in the adaptation of Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) and the hilarious Bruce Almighty (2003).

He even flipped the script when he showcased his dramatic chops, earning two Golden Globes for his performances in The Truman Show (1998) and Man on the Moon (1999).

And today, he's reprised his role in several hit adaptations of the video game Sonic the Hedgehog, with another sequel set for 2028.

Jim being honored in 2026 for his transformation into iconic characters over the past four decades makes absolute sense.

And here's Jim a few months ago at the2025 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony:

They've even considered some Truman Show-like conspiracy theories.

And speaking of conspiracies, they've even gone as far as to suggest that he was cloned.
