Comment An audience of one. Photo: Prime Video Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime, that’s why I improv on company time. The second season of Jury Duty is finally here, and it is leaving the courtroom behind. The trailer for season two dropped today, teasing a corporate-themed version. This one follows a worker named Anthony Norman, who is hired to help with a company’s retreat, not realizing he is on a TV show. The company, it turns out, is called Rockin’ Grandma’s hot sauce, and it might be in line to get acquired by a group of hedge-fund-y gingers. “It’s just weird to have that many redheads in one place,” one of the employees says. The island of Ireland might disagree, but the reasoning is overall sound.

The group of improv actors at the fake company are mostly lesser-known faces so that the mark won’t recognize them. One notable comedian is Rachel Kaly, a 2023 Vulture Comedian You Should Know, who led the pilot for Nicole Holofcener’s Worried, which premiered at Sundance. Otherwise, there are comedians from places like the Groundlings (Emily Pendergast) and Second City (Blair Beeken) alongside character actors Alex Bonifer and the fabulously named Marc Sully Saint-Fleur. The new season will premiere on March 20 on Prime Video. Are you ready to clock in?
