Livvy Dunne Joins 'Baywatch' TV Reboot at Fox - Deadline

Welcome to Baywatch 2.0: The Influencer Edition. Fox is loading up its reboot of the famous lifeguard action drama with social media stars. The latest is model and former competitive gymnast Livvy Dunne, who has been tapped for the recurring role of Grace, a highly enthusiastic junior lifeguard.

It marks the professional acting debut of the former Louisiana State University gymnast who recently revealed that she had been taking acting lessons and planned to pursue a film and TV career after retiring from the sport in April 2025.

Dunne, who has about 13 million social media followers, joins recently cast Baywatch series regulars Noah Beck (41M), Shay Mitchell (35M) and Brooks Nader (1.8M).

Stephen Amell stars in the series lead role of Hobie Buchannon. The cast also includes Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone as well as David Chokachi reprising his OG role of Cody Madison.

In the Baywatch reboot, scheduled to launch on Fox during the 2026-2027 season, wild-child Hobie (Amell) serves as a Baywatch Captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch. Hobie’s world is turned upside down when daughter Charlie (Belkin) shows up on his doorstep eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy.

Fox Entertainment and Fremantle are co-producing the new show, with Matt Nix serving as showrunner and exec producing alongside premiere episode director McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. Fox Entertainment Global holds all domestic rights, with Fremantle managing all international sales.

Dunne is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and The Team.
