The NAACP Image Awards has revealed even more winners ahead of Saturdays 2026 NAACP Image Awards ceremony.
During Thursdays non-televised Creative Honors event, the NAACP Image Awards presented awards in various TV and film categories.
Sinners, which leads this year’s NAACP Image Awards nominations with 18 nods, racked up four more wins with Ryan Coogler winning best writing and directing for a film and Wunmi Mosaku and Delroy Lindo named best supporting actress and actor, respectively, in a motion picture. Abbott Elementary won three awards Thursday, taking home best comedy series and comedy supporting actor (William Stanford Davis) and actress (Janelle James), respectively.
Double winners Thursday included Don Lemon, Number One on the Call Sheet and Straw, which also won multiple awards in the non-televised virtual ceremonies earlier in the week.
Other notable winners on Thursday night included Zootopia 2 (best animated motion picture), The Jennifer Hudson Show (best talk series), Cedric The Entertainer (best actor in a comedy series for The Neighborhood), Reasonable Doubt (best drama series), Sterling K. Brown (best actor in a drama series for Paradise) and Caleb McLaughlin (best supporting actor in a drama series for Stranger Things).

Michelle Obama, Will Packer and Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show were among the winners on night one. Lamar, SZA and Cardi B were among the night two winners. And Sinners, Gracies Corner, Ironheart, Celebrity Family Feud and Straw were among the multiple award winners on night three. During Thursday’s Creative Honors, Rev. Dr. Jamal-Harrison Bryant was presented with the Mildred Bond Roxborough Social Justice Impact Award. And Friday, A$AP Rocky will be honored with the Vanguard Award for Fashion at the NAACP Image Awards’ Reception & Fashion Show, hosted by Meagan Good.
The 2026 NAACP Image Awards, hosted by Deon Cole, will air live on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on BET and CBS from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Special honorees include Chairman’s Award recipient Viola Davis and President’s Award recipient Colman Domingo. Additionally, Salt-n-Pepa and DJ Spinderella will be inducted into the NAACP Image Awards’ Hall of Fame.
