Parents already know the magic of the Toniebox — the screen-free audio player that lets kids listen to stories and songs by placing collectible figures on top. Now, the brand is expanding that ecosystem with a softer take on its popular characters.

The brand has introduced Cuddle Tonies, a new line of plush figures designed to work with the Toniebox while doubling as cozy companions kids can carry around. Wrapped in soft fleece, the characters are larger and more huggable than traditional Tonies, turning the figures into plush companions that can come along for playtime, travel or quiet time.

Just like the classic figurines, kids simply place a Cuddle Tonie on top of the Toniebox to activate audio tied to each character — unlocking familiar stories, songs and soundscapes.

The first wave features a lineup of recognizable Disney favorites, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Simba, Olaf, Stitch and Winnie the Pooh.

The launch builds on the brand’s momentum following last year’s introduction of the next-generation Toniebox 2, which added new features and expanded interactive capabilities. Tonies also recently introduced Sleepy Tonies, a line of characters featuring calming stories, lullabies and ambient soundscapes. Together, these releases highlight how the brand is broadening the ways kids can enjoy its screen-free storytelling universe.

Each Cuddle Tonie retails for $29.99 and is available starting today on the Tonies website, with select characters available at Walmart and additional inventory expected at Amazon soon.
