Variety will host a Next Generation Entertainment Podcast Brunch presented by Google TV at SXSW on March 14.

Kicking off the brunch is a Strictly Business Conversation featuring Jonathan Zepp, Managing Director, Entertainment Content and Platforms, Google and Tommy Harper, Founder and CEO, VeYou. The discussion will be moderated by Editor-at-Large Kate Aurthur.

“Google TV is at the forefront of this next generation of entertainment, pioneering how audiences connect with content,” said Shalini Govil-Pai, VP & GM of TV Platforms at Google. “We’re delighted to partner with Variety at this year’s SXSW to highlight our newest innovations, which are central to our mission of redefining the entertainment landscape. We’re excited to evolve the future of storytelling by leaning into advanced technology, emerging formats, and pushing boundaries together with our partners.”

The event program will also include the first-ever Variety 10 Creators to Watch Roundtable with the inaugural content creator nominees, including Sabrina Brier, Mina Le, Eric Sedeño, Julian Shapiro-Barnum, and Vinny Thomas. The panel will be moderated by Variety’s Selome Hailu.

“We are excited to bring this conversation to SXSW, a festival that reflects our commitment to the future of content,” said Dea Lawrence, Publisher and Co-President, Variety. “Together with Google, we’re highlighting voices that are not only following trends but also defining the next era of the creator economy.”
