Veronica Beard is adding a dose of Parisian wit to its spring lineup.
The New York-based ready-to-wear brand has teamed with contemporary French artist Thomas Lélu on a limited-edition capsule collection timed to its Spring 2026 “Spring Forward” campaign, bringing the artist’s signature, text-driven humor to a tightly edited lineup of wardrobe staples.
Lélu — whose playful, irreverent phrases have made him a favorite across fashion and social media — lends his distinct point of view to six hero pieces, splashing and embroidering slogans like “BAD DECISIONS MAKE GOOD STORIES,” “STRESS DOESN’T GO WITH MY OUTFIT,” “I WANT A HUG BAG,” and “WHY NOT? LIFE IS SHORT” across cashmere knits, tees and accessories.
“Thomas’s work has a way of capturing a feeling in just a few words—it’s witty, self-aware, and instantly relatable,” co-founders Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard in a statement, adding that the collaboration celebrates this individuality “and not taking yourself too seriously.”
The capsule includes the Daro Cashmere Cardigan ($598), embroidered by New York-based brand Abbode; the Anchor Bag ($595), hand-painted by Lefty’s Right Mind; the Hoovey T-Shirt ($298); the Carla T-Shirt ($178); the Beaumont Sweatshirt ($248); and a Mini Veronica Beard Canvas Tote ($128).
Founded in 2010 by the sisters-in-law pair (with coincidentally matching namesakes), the label has built its reputation on versatile, lifestyle-driven staples. Lélu, meanwhile, has exhibited at institutions including the Palais de Tokyo and Fondation Cartier and has cultivated a global following for his pop-inflected, text-based works that straddle contemporary art, fashion and social commentary.
The Veronica Beard x Thomas Lélu capsule is now available on veronicabeard.com and at Veronica Beard boutiques worldwide.
