The Mountain West men's basketball tournament is here.
The structure is a bit different this year. In the recent past, the top five teams earned a first-round bye. But the Mountain West's addition of Grand Canyon for this season made it 12 teams in the league. So, the top four earn a first-round bye and the next eight begin with first-round play.
Those 12 Mountain West teams are chasing the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
