The 2026 Big Ten Wrestling Championships are complete, and the results offered a clearer picture of which wrestlers are building momentum ahead of the NCAA Championships.

Penn State pulled away in the team race, scoring 184.0 points to win the conference title. Ohio State finished second with 148.5, followed by Nebraska in third with 116.5.

Several top contenders claimed titles, including Jesse Mendez at 141 pounds. Nittany Lion true freshman PJ Duke also broke through for a Big Ten championship, while his teammates Mitchell Mesenbrink and Josh Barr delivered the kind of performances expected from national title contenders.

With the Big Ten Championships complete, attention now turns to the NCAA Championships, where many of these same wrestlers will be among the favorites to compete for national titles.
