Girlfriend's Defense Of Kash Patel's Winter Olympics Trip Goes Off The Rails

Country singer Alexis Wilkins briefly answered a question about her boyfriend Kash Patel’s controversial visit to the Winter Olympics ― and she took a wild detour.

The FBI director was scrutinized for attending multiple hockey games and partying with the gold medal-winning U.S. men’s team in the locker room during an official visit to Italy, purportedly to focus on security issues.

Wilkins was asked on her Feb. 25 podcast about Patel’s taxpayer-funded Milan trip to “drink beer with hockey players.”

“So I really am not going to dip too much into this, because this is kind of my whole point,” Wilkins replied. “But what I will say is the bureau has long been in charge of providing security for the Olympics, and that’s what was happening.”

“So, I think that we should be probably more concerned with the fact that, you know, the Democrats were trying to spend millions of dollars to see if mice can be transgender,” she continued, clinging to misleading claims about scientific research. “And the fact that that has stopped, you know, I think that people run things in the media in order to cause an outrage. And I’ve never seen so many conservatives fall victim to the fake news.”

She wasn’t done. “President Trump still calls the fake news ‘fake news’ ― and that’s how we know they’re the fake news,” she later proclaimed.

The FBI insisted Patel was tending to official business at the Games, but the poor optics of his bro-like behavior with the men’s hockey team, the reported $75,000 price tag for the trip on an FBI jet, and his relatively light itinerary revealed by The New York Times sparked more backlash.
