MLB's offseason is winding down, spring training is underway and nearly all of the top free agents are off the table. The 2026 season is almost here.
The top available free agent, Kyle Tucker, landed with the Dodgers on a four-year deal with opt outs, following a trend of players wanting to try free agency again. Bo Bichette is headed to the Mets on a similar short-term deal, Alex Bregman inked a deal with the Cubs, Cody Bellinger went back to the Yankees and Kyle Schwarber went back to the Phillies. Framber Valdez, the top pitcher on the market, lasted until a few days into February when he agreed to a three-year deal with the Tigers.
Only a few players on CBS Sports' top 50 remain as camps in Florida and Arizona continue.
