On Sunday afternoon, the New York Knicks will be in Los Angeles to play the Lakers.

The Knicks most recently blew out the Denver Nuggets by a score of 142-103 in Colorado.

Landry Shamet finished with ten points and three rebounds while shooting 3/5 from the field and 2/4 from three-point range in 19 minutes of playing time.

For Sunday's game, the Knicks could be without Shamet, as he is questionable due to a neck issue.

Shamet is averaging 10.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 45.9% from the field and 41.4% from three-point range in 39 games.

But Landry Shamet QUESTIONABLE - neck/cervical sprain"

Shamet was the 26th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft out of Wichita State.

He has also spent time with the Phoenix Suns, LA Clippers, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and Washington Wizards over eight seasons in the league.

His career averages are 8.5 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 41.7% from the field and 38.8% from three-point range in 437 games.

NBA on Prime wrote (on November 14): "Landry Shamet and Jordan Clarkson are cooking off the bench 🔥 It's the first time multiple Knicks players have had 20+ off the bench since Derrick Rose and Immanuel Quickley in 2021"

The Knicks are in the middle of another fantastic season after making the 2025 Eastern Conference finals.

Right now, they are the third seed with a 41-23 record in 64 games.

Following the Lakers, the Knicks will play their next game on Monday when they remain in Los Angeles to play the Clippers.

As for the Lakers, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 38-25 record.
