UFC Fight Night 268 took place at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
The headliner featured former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno (23-10-2 MMA, 11-7-2 UFC) and short-notice replacement opponent Lone'er Kavanagh (10-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC). In the co-feature, David Martinez (14-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) took on Marlon Vera (23-12-1 MMA, 15-11 UFC) at bantamweight.

Round 1 – The main event starts with a glove touch. Moreno takes the center and starts working behind a left hand. Moreno blasts Kavanagh with a hard step-in left hand. Moreno continues to search for a home for looping punches as Kavanagh circles on the outside. Kavanagh lands a nice punch as Moreno closes the distance. Chants for Moreno echo. Kavanagh narrowly misses Moreno with a hard kick. Kavanagh kicks to the body nicely. Moreno dips in with a solid two-punch combo. A quick right hand is not far behind it. Kavanagh peppers out a left jab, then adds power to a clean left. 10-9 Kavanagh.
Round 2 – Kavanagh works the left jab, and fires a combo. A clash of kicks sees Moreno drop to the canvas, but he pops back up immediately. More jabs keep Moreno’s attention, and Kavanagh sneaks in a kick up the middle. Kavanagh lands another left. There’s Moreno with a nice left hand. Kavanagh’s calf kick lands and Moreno shakes his leg out. Kavanagh unloads a combination and badly wobbles Moreno! Kavanagh hunts for the finish while Moreno covers up! Moreno stumbles backward, but Kavanagh allows him to reset. Moreno is bruised and bloodied, still hanging in there. Kavanagh stays calm, finds home for another hard calf kick, followed by by a sharp counter combo. Moreno answers a moment later with a couple of left hands. Moreno front kicks to the body. 10-9 Kavanagh.
Round 3 – They touch 'em up, and get back to it. Moreno goes first after pawing the left jab. Moreno finds home for a solid right hand over the top. Moreno turns up the pressure, firing out repeated left jabs, and swings again with a big right. Kavanagh answers with a couple of quick punches. Midway through the round, Moreno changes levels for a takedown. He gets a standing back take, and drills a few knees to the thigh. Kavanagh turns into Moreno and they separate. Moreno puts together a fast 1-2. Kavanagh unleashes a question mark kick. A thudding leg kick from Kavanagh lands. Moreno gets another clinch against the fence, and drives in a few more knees to the legs. 10-9 Moreno.
Round 4 – Kavanagh peppers out the left jab, but Moreno offers a series of left hooks as he charges forward. Moreno changes levels for a single along the fence, driving more knees into the thigh. Moreno does a good job of maintaining the position as he continues to drill in knees, but the referee calls for more work as the time ticks away. Kavanagh shakes free and returns to the center. Kavanagh fires off a pair of hard calf kicks and punches upstairs. The second kick causes Moreno to hobble badly, and the damage on the left calf is apparent. Moreno charges in with a looping left hand, which Kavanagh evades. Moreno closes in for another single leg attempt, and we’re back to the same position as before against the cage. The ref calls for action quicker this time. Kavanagh unleashes a spinning kick to the head moments before the horn. 10-9 Kavanagh.
Round 5 – They embrace, showing a lot of respect at the start of the final round. Kavanagh lands a calf kick just as Moreno comes in for another single leg. We’re back to the same position as before against the fence, and the referee is once again quick to call for work. Moreno knees to the legs, but that’s not enough action. Moreno is pouring blood from his mouth. Kavanagh lands a head kick but Moreno eats it – or does he? There was a little wobble after. Pushing forward, Moreno is back in on the single leg, really working for the takedown this time. Kavanagh is able to turn and hit a sneaky short elbow before they separate. Kavanagh rips a nice combo of punches and adds another calf kick. Moreno clinches up again with less than a minute to work. Kavanagh separates and lands one more spinning kick to the body. 10-9 Kavanagh. He takes the fight 49-46 for the upset.

Round 1 – They touch 'em up, and Vera takes the center. Martinez darts in with a punch, but misses the mark. A quick kick to the head catches Martinez, but he eats it. Martinez is very bouncy as they both look for their openings. There's a nice kick to the leg from Vera. Martinez lands one of his own, and a right hand not far behind it. Two more punches get home for Martinez. Vera lands a punch-kick combo, but Martinez quickly answers. Martinez catches a kick and sweeps out Vera's leg for a takedown. Vera threatens a triangle, but Martinez safely enters guard and rains down some hard punches before the horn. 10-9 Martinez.
Round 2 – Martinez digs in with a hard leg kick to get the action going. Vera offers a head kick, but Martinez gets his guard up in time for the block. Martinez lands a nice right hand around Vera’s defense. Vera steps into a left hand. Martinez resets and offers a quick combo. Both fire at the same time, but it’s Martinez’s short elbow that gets home clean. Another Martinez punch lands flush a moment later. Vera closes the distance and connects with a right. Martinez fires back with more punches before circling. Vera lands a head kick, but Martinez eats it, catches it, and trips out the leg, similar to the round before. Martinez is in full guard with just over a minute to go. Martinez decides to let Vera up. Vera lands a nice punch. Martinez looks for a takedown, but it’s not there for him. Martinez then spins with a kick to the body. 10-9 Martinez.
Round 3 – Vera quickly darts across the cage, but it’s Martinez who fires first. Vera partially lands a head kick, and puts a combo of punches behind it. Martinez kicks to the legs, then circles away from Vera’s pressure. Another takedown attempt from Martinez fails. Vera keeps the pressure high and lands a right, then a left hook finds the mark. Vera darts in with a switch knee to the body. Martinez is still bouncing around, but noticeably slower than before as Vera keeps the pressure high. Martinez sneaks in a solid right hand. Vera rips a combo to the head. Martinez gets the clinch, but Vera shakes out without much issue. One minute to go, and Vera is still applying heavy pressure, landing strikes. Martinez appears to be trying to run out the clock, but Vera connects with a big left! Vera lands another combo before the horn. That’s a 10-9 Vera round, but the fight goes to Martinez, 29-28.

Round 1 – Zellhuber darts across the cage, but doesn't offer a strike. Green gets the action started with leg kicks and punches. Zellhuber gets taken off balance with an inside kick as he steps in to punch. A wild scramble takes place on the canvas, but they reset to the feet. Zellhuber keeps the distance close, Green evading his offerings, waving him in with taunts. Zellhuber kicks low, but Green times a takedown. Zellhuber pops up and gets back to pressuring. Green lands a left and evades Zellhuber's response. Green is having fun in there, feeling very confident. There's a stiff left from Green. Zellhuber misses again, drawing another taunt from Green. Now they're exchanging. Green gets the better of it. Green spins wit ha kick, and then slaps Zellhuber. It appears Green finally got tagged with a clean body shot, but he still has his hands low. 10-9 Green.
Round 2 – They pick up right where they left off. Green gets a takedown off another kick. This time, Zellhuber slaps on a buggy choke. It appears deep! The angle is awkward, and the ref checks on Green twice, but he's still in it. Now Green drills in a few knees to the body and Zellhuber gives up on the hold. Green stays attached as they return to the feet, but it leads to a separation. Zellhuber keeps the distance close, but gets tagged by clean punches from Green. The defensive elusiveness of Green continues to shine as Zellhuber struggles to find his target. Green wobbles Zellhuber with hard right hand! Zellhuber shakes it off and comes forward again. Green lands a hard left and down goes Zellhuber! Green swarms! He's unloading for the finish, and that's it! Woah!!!

Round 1 – A quick glove touch here, and they're off with a stiff leg kick from Chairez. Bunes answers with a punch upstairs. Another hard leg kick digs in for Chairez, and Bunes shoots in. Bunes looks for a standing back take and gets it with a body triangle, too. Very slick transition. Bunes drops down a few elbows and punches from the side before looking for the choke. Bunes gets away with using the top of the cage to help his positioning, and he's back to more 12-6 elbows to the shoulder area. He switches sides with the body triangle and continues punching to the body and head. Chairez attempts to spike Bunes in the closing seconds, but Bunes rolls with it. 10-9 Bunes.
Round 2 – Chairez comes out a little more active with his movement and fires off a leg kick. Bunes answers with a kick to the body. Chairez spins with a backfist, but Bunes is wise to it. The crowd starts chanting for Chairez as the fighters cover all corners of the cage without much output. Chairez puts together a nice punching combo. A few moments later, Chairez goes for another spinning backfist. Bunes stays defensively sound, though. Bunes goes for a spinning backfist of his own and misses. Now Bunes opens up his offense a bit as he works behind a left hand. Chairez just misses with a head kick. With 10 seconds to go, an inside leg kick from Bunes lands to the junk, pausing the action. On the restart, Chairez blitzes with punches until the horn. 10-9 Chairez.
Round 3 – The final round begins with exchanges right off the bat. Chairez appeared to get the better of the moment. Bunes, however, takes control with a takedown. Chairez stays calm and gets back to his feet. Another spinning attack from Chairez. Pressure and volume are up for Chairez as the crowd gets into the action. Midway through the round and action slows for a moment. Bunes lands a solid left hand. Bunes taunts, calling for Chairez to bring it on. Chairez lands a punch to the eye, which Bunes wants time for, and doesn't get. Chairez swarms, but Bunes circles well. Bunes throws his arms up to taunt again, but it's Chairez with a vicious flurry and a head kick before the horn. 10-9 Chairez. He takes the fight 29-28.

Round 1 – They touch gloves and Rodriguez is first to strike with a hard leg kick and a few punches. Rodriguez steps in ripping punches, and Borjas decides to stand a bang and drops Rodriguez with a left hook! Borjas rushes in to try for the finish, but Rodriguez scrambles to his feet to escape danger. Borjas keeps chasing, looking for another punch. Rodriguez gets just enough space and changes levels for a takedown to stop the swarm. Rodriguez maintains top position while working in a couple of short punches. Under a minute to go and now Rodriguez looks for big elbows. Borjas gets to his feet right before the horn. 10-9 Borjas.
Round 2 – Another glove touch to start here. Rodriguez darts in with punches as Borjas circles away. Rodriguez keeps setting the pace by firing first as Borjas seems content waiting for another big counter shot for now. Rodriguez comes in with an open hand and scrapes Borjas' eye, causing a brief pause. On the restart, Rodriguez continues to fire first. A takedown attempt is there, but somehow Borjas keeps his feet under him. Now it's Borjas with a clean pair of punches. Another Rodriguez takedown is denied. Rodriguez rips a solid combination that appears to hurt Borjas. Rodriguez is looking to capitalize, but takes himself off his feet. He gets back up, resets, and comes back in with another flurry. Oh! A temple shot from an overhand right causes a delayed reaction! Down goes Borjas! Rodriguez is swarming again! This time, he gets the stoppage!

Round 1 – Chants for Luna fill the arena as they begin the feel-out process. Pacheco starts working behind a left jab as they move about the octagon. Luna rips a furious combination going to the body first, and finishing upstairs. A moment later, Luna front kicks, rips a few punches and dumps Pacheco to the canvas with a nice takedown. Pacheco pops right back up, and returns to the peppering left jab. Pacheco lands a nice left, but Luna does as well. Luna steps in with another clean combination, sending Pacheco into the fence. They reset, and Luna shoots in for a takedown with under a minute to go. Not much happens on the mat, and they return to the feet. Luna lands a punch to knock Pacheco off balance in the final seconds. 10-9 Luna.
Round 2 – Luna quickly applies pressure with hard punches along the fenceline. Pacheco circles out and fires back, ripping a nice hook to the body. Luna shoots in another takedown, eventually scrambling to guard. Luna opts to stand up and they return to the center. Pacheco continues to fire the left jab to keep Luna honest. Luna rips a combo of hooks. Luna adds a knee to the body. Body-head combo for Luna now. Pacheco backs into the fence as Luna rips another combo. Luna decides to take the back and slam Pacheco to the mat. They return to the feet and trade punches before the horn. 10-9 Luna.
Round 3 – Luna once again quickly comes forward, pushing Pacheco into the fence. His mouthpiece comes out, but the referee replaces it in the clinch position. They end up returning to the middle where Luna lights Pacheco up again with a beautiful, smooth combination. Pacheco answers with a right hand, but Luna comes back at him with another series of punches before another takedown. Pacheco gets to his feet without much trouble. Luna gets another clinch, but can't get the takedown this time. Luna keeps scoring with clean punches. Pacheco closes in a little too close, and Luna jumps on a guillotine attempt. It looks deep! Nope. Pacheco's head pops out, and now he's in a great spot with a minute left. Luna kicks him off to create space, and they're back up. Luna keeps the pressure on with punches as they trade until the final horn. That's 10-9 Luna, and the fight goes his way 30-27.

Round 1 – They touch gloves and get right to it with initial punch offerings. Gandra closes the distance, swining powerful hooks, backing Medina into the fence. There's a big knee! Gandra is unloading punches! This is a furious blitz of punches! Down goes Medina from a right! That's it! It's over! Medina protests the stoppage, but there's nothing he can do about it as Gandra celebrates.

Round 1 – No glove touch here. Perez takes the center to start. Chiasson darts in with a left, but Perez evades and gets a nice takedown. Chiasson quickly attacks a leg lock and turns it into a back take. Chiasson adds a few punches from the back while also hunting for a submission opening. Perez stays calm and tight as the time ticks away. Chiasson stays wrapped, and although she's in a dominant position, the referee calls for work. Perez manages to slip out, and gets a takedown of her own in the closing seconds. Perez adds a couple of heavy punches before the round ends. 10-9 Chaisson.
Round 2 – Chiasson works behind a long left jab to start the round. Her first clinch attempt is easily brushed off by Perez. A moment later, Perez steps in with a clean right hand, popping Chiasson's head back. Perez goes for a spinning backfist, but misses everything and Chiasson smiles. They clinch up again, and it's Perez with a nice hip toss to the mat with three minutes to work. Perez drops a few hammerfists to the body, and the referee bizarrely breaks them up. That was bad. After the reset, they clinch up again along the fence. Chiasson drives in a few knees to the thighs, and tries to pull Perez to the mat, but it backfires. Perez takes top position, but it's just for a moment. Chiasson kicks her off, but Perez stays attached and drags her back to the mat. Perez ends the round with a hard right hand. 10-9 Perez.
Round 3 – Chiasson goes for a body kick, but slips, allowing Perez to rush in for a body lock. Perez drags Chiasson to the ground, settling in half guard. Chiasson tries to keep her locked in for a stand up, and the trigger-happy ref does call for action, but Perez is able to work enough and land a few punches from the top. The referee continues to call for action while Perez is actively trying to transition and work ground and pound. Chiasson gives up her back. Perez punches and tries to get an arm under the chin. Chiasson gets back to her feet, but Perez stays attached, working short strikes. Chiasson separates for a second, but Perez gets right back in on the hips. The fight ends with a Chaisson reversal, but that's it. It's 10-9 Perez, and she takes the fight 29-28.

Round 1 – They touch 'em up and get into the feel out – and Quinonez blasts Moutinho with a hard right hand. He looks for the takedown after, but they remain standing. Quinonez displays a bladed stance, bouncing around lightly, darting with single punches. Moutinho times a nice left, but Quinonez gets a hold of him, and slams him to the canvas. Quinonez gets too high on the back and decides to give up on the position. Back in the center now, Quinonez lands a hard punch near the fence. An eye poke pauses the action, and Quinonez gets a stern warning from the referee. Back to the action quickly. Moutinho turns up the forward pressure as Quinonez bounces around, circling. 10-9 Quinonez.
Round 2 – Moutinho quickly closes the distance with punches straight into a clinch. Quinonez shakes free and returns to the center. Moutinho keeps charging forward, but Quinonez times a nice double leg takedown. Quinonez floats over to back control, but Moutinho is able to stand up without much resistance. Quinonez drags him back to the mat and slaps on a rear-naked choke. The arm isn't under the chin, so he readjusts. A second attempt doesn't work either, so Quinonez gives up the back control. Back on the feet with just a few ticks left, Quinonez lands a nice jab and a hard right before the horn. 10-9 Quinonez.
