A quarter century after the September 11 attacks, the anniversary is still growing. At this year's commemoration in New York, a seventh moment of silence will be observed for the first time, dedicated to the thousands of people who have died in the years since from diseases linked to the toxic ash and rubble of the World Trade Center. The attacks of 2001 killed nearly 3,000 people on the day; the dying never fully stopped.
