Benny Blanco has clarified his hygiene habits after Selena Gomez was roasted by fans for kissing his dirty feet.
The actress, 33, appeared on the debut episode of her husband's podcast, Friends Keep Secrets, where she displayed her affection for him.
An hour into the episode, Selena, who was on the floor, leant over and kissed Benny's foot as he rested it on a coffee table.
The Only Murders In The Building actress sparked uproar from disgusted fans who accused Benny's feet of being 'dirty' .
Now, the American record producer has clarified his hygiene habits as he spoke to Ed Sheeran on the latest episode of his podcast.
Benny, 38, asked the singer if he showered daily, to which he replied: 'Yeah sometimes twice a day mostly twice a day actually.'

The Shape Of You hitmaker continued: 'I feel like I'm like you though I look like I don't smell good.
'But actually you're the best-smelling person I know.'
Benny is very much aware of his aroma, replying: 'I know, I smell good'.
Meanwhile, Lil Dicky, whose real name is David Andrew Burd, appeared with his wife Kirstin Batalucco, and chimed in that people often said he had a particular smell.
Benny told him 'sometimes you stink' before Ed was encouraged to sniff both men's belly buttons for comparison.
Ed said Burd's stank like 'bum hole' while Benny said his smelt 'of nothing'.
After Selena kissed his foot, Benny remarked 'I liked that,' which prompted the actress to playfully scold him and warn him not to make it a 'moment.'
'I liked it,' he continued of his wife's gesture. 'It made me feel good. I love you so much.'
In the same episode, Benny had revealed how sometimes he tries to contain his public displays of affection for Selena.
He said: 'I want to kiss her and jump her bones all the time, so to watch her just kiss my toe just really made my day. '
At the time, social media users weren't too impressed by Gomez's moment of affection and blasted the scene online.
'This is the most disgusting thing,' one wrote on X (formerly Twitter). 'Benny and Selena, the smelliest couple I've ever seen.'
'I love Selena, but why [did] she set herself up doing this?' asked another.
A third begged the question: 'If she does it in front of everyone, what does she do in private?'
