The 2026 SAG Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday night—with a rebrand! Please welcome to the stage the 2026 Actor Awards, hosted by Kristen Bell at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall.
As for the news from the red carpet? For the first time, the event came with a dress code: “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour from the ’20s and ’30s.” We had high hopes that the very fashionable slate of nominees—Chase Infiniti, Teyana Taylor, and Emma Stone among them—would live up to the early Hollywood brief, and boy, were we right. The men delivered, too: actors including Timothée Chalamet, Michael B. Jordan, Adam Brody, and Paul Mescal all showed off their red carpet bonafides.
But the Actor Awards have always been a stylish show. Last year, Chalamet gave his now-famous speech about ambition while wearing an acid green button-down and a bolo tie. Elsewhere, red statement dresses ruled the carpet: Danielle Deadwyler wore a geometric Louis Vuitton dress and Anna Sawai opted for structured, bejeweled Armani Privé. And, of course, no red carpet nowadays is complete without a vintage fashion flex. Givenchy opened the archives for Cynthia Erivo, who wore a silver woven raffia dress from fall 1997 couture.
