You would be forgiven for thinking a 1,000hp Mercedes-Benz limo is the stuff of pure fantasy, because that is exactly what it sounds like.

However, far from being a dream, such a car does exist, after a former mid-2000s Mercedes-Benz E-Class limousine received all the upgrades to boost its power.

This car, which is also inexplicably a drift limo, is far removed from its days of ferrying celebrities, government officials, or the rich around.

But we love wild cars like this at Supercar Blondie, so read on to find out what makes this monster tick.

This is how this Mercedes-Benz limo makes 1,000hp

The car belongs to content creator Backfire Brad, and it started life as a Mercedes-Benz E-Class limo.

But since it’s stopped being a luxury vehicle, it’s had some wild modifications.

This bonkers beast was created in just four months, so it could make it to the 2025 SEMA show.

Not an easy task, but it is one that Brad and his team were able to fulfill.

Under the hood, the standard Mercedes E240 engine has gone.

Instead, this utter monster has a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter Corvette V8 engine, making 1,022hp.

Key to that are the two turbochargers, which are so big they are bigger than your face.

They are so big, you can see them popping out of the hood of the limo.

The car has the exterior design to match, with bright yellow paintwork and huge ‘Drift Limo’ logos on the side.

That drift logo on the side of the limo isn’t just for show either.

Footage on YouTube showed the incredible car taking part in a drift event organised by Germans RD48.

The event was called Ice King Battle, and it was effectively a drag race event, held on snow and ice.

Already unlike any other drag race event you’ve ever seen, this car had an extra element of madness.

Not only did the car look good, but it sounded superb as well.

At the back of the car is a huge rear wing, which in theory keeps this monster glued to the ground.

For a car built in just four months, it is mighty impressive.

If you thought a limo was built purely for cruising, then this Mercedes-Benz limo will make you think again.
